What Is [Expert Settings]?

Overview

In [Expert Settings], set a device link profile to each of [Text], [Graphics], and [Image].

When transferring color data using a device link profile, this system calculates how to perform color conversion for which color. Pre-determining the result of this calculation enables the print speed to be increased.

Also, this function can maintain the accurate and stable color output even after color conversion without losing the information of the black plate.

  • If an item of [Expert Settings] is set, [Expert Settings] is displayed in [Paper Profile Name] field on the [Paper Profile Management] screen.
