You can select destinations by pressing the register name from the destination list. For details about selecting a registered destination, refer to Sending to a Registered FTP Server.

The register name can be specified using up to 24 single-byte characters (12 double-byte characters).
For [Reference Name], the same name as the register name is entered automatically. If you want to change the name, press [Reference Name] and enter text.

The host address can be up to 253 single-byte characters long.

The login name can be entered using up to 32 single-byte characters.
"anonymous" is entered in [Login Name] if [Anonymous] is pressed. An Anonymous FTP (an FTP for sharing files with a large number of unspecified users) can be used.

Up to 32 single-byte characters can be used for the password.
The password you entered is displayed as "*".

You can set the port number used by the FTP server with a 5-digit number (00001 to 65535).
The port number is 21 by default. In general use, the port number does not need to be changed. Change only if the port was changed on the FTP server side.
Press [ON] to use Proxy.
The [Scan Settings] screen is displayed.
Press [Register] to register the address you entered.
