Checking the Network
The following network environment for using an FTP server is required.
Connected to a network via TCP/IP, and the system must have an IP address
There should be an FTP server that can be connected to on the network, and user accounts set up that can access it
Tips
To access the FTP server, an FTP server address and destination file path, along with a working user account name and password for logging in is required. Check these in advance with the network administrator.
You can also establish an FTP site within your local area network. For details, refer to Configuring FTP Servers.
You cannot connect via FTPS (FTP over SSL).
