Items to Be Set When Sending

When sending, set the following items.

Setting Items

Description

[Register Name]

Register the names that appear in the list of destinations.

When you register, the name appears in the list of destinations.

[Reference Name]

Register the text for searching for a destination.

When you register, you can use it to find destinations.

[Host Address]

Specify the server name or IP address of the FTP server.

[File Path]

Specify the folder in the FTP server.

[Login Name]

Specify the login name for the FTP server.

[Password]

Specify the password corresponding to the login name for the FTP server.

[Port No.]

Specify the port number as necessary.

NOTICE
  • The scan data sent to an FTP server may get corrupted depending on network conditions. Be sure to check that the scan data is not corrupted.

  • It is useful to pre-register frequently used destinations. For details about registering a destination, refer to [Scan Address Register].

However, you cannot search using only the "Filter by title" option. When using this option, also select another search filter item.
