Sending to a Registered Email Address
Procedure

Press [SCAN].

Check that [E-mail] is selected.
If [E-mail] is not selected, press [E-mail].
[E-mail] is selected by default. For details about the default display for the [SCAN] screen, refer to [Default Address].

To set [Title Setting], [Text Setting], and [From Address Setting], press [Option Setting].
If you do not set a title and body in [Option Setting], the content set to [Default] in [E-mail Title Setting] and [E-mail Text Setting] is applied. This is blank when [E-mail Title Setting] and [E-mail Text Setting] are not configured.
If you do not configure [From Address Setting] with [Option Setting], the administrator's email address is applied.

To set the title, press [Title Setting], and then press [1] to [5] or [Manual Setting] to set the title. Press [OK].
Press [Manual Setting] to display the input screen. For details about entering text, refer to Entering Text.
The title can be entered using up to 64 single-byte characters (32 double-byte characters).
Up to 5 titles can be registered. For details about registering a title, refer to [E-mail Title Setting].

To set the main body text, press [Text Setting], and then press [1] to [5] or [Manual Setting] to set the body text. Press [OK].
Press [Manual Setting] to display the input screen. For details about entering text, refer to Entering Text.
Main text can be specified using up to 256 single-byte characters (128 double-byte characters).
Up to 5 main texts can be registered. For details about registering main body text, refer to [E-mail Text Setting].

To set the sender's email address, press [From Address Setting], select the register name from the list of addresses, and then press [OK].
Press [Input Address] to display the input screen. Enter an address. For details about entering text, refer to Entering Text.
The address can be specified using up to 256 single-byte characters.
You can register up to 450 email addresses. For details about registering anaddress, refer to [Scan Address Register].

Press [OK] on the [E-mail Option Setting] screen to return to the [SCAN] screen.

Press the register name to select an address from the address list.
The selected address appears in [List] on the left side of the screen.
Multiple addresses are selectable.
To deselect the address, press the selectedregister name again.
The search feature allows you to searchfor addresses. For details about search, refer to Searching Destinations.
Use [A to Z], [Others], or [Main] to filter the register names.
Press [Input Address] to manually enter the address. For details about entering a destination, refer to Sending to an Unregistered Email Address.

Press [Scan Settings].
The [Scan Settings] screen is displayed.

Configure the scanning conditions.
For details about the scan conditions, refer to [Scan Settings].

Load the original, and press Start on the Control panel.
Scanning begins and the scan data is sent to the selected address.
The scanned data is sent via email to the SMTP server.
Press [Address] to return to the [SCAN] screen.
The address or [Scan Settings] screen settings may not be deselected even after sending. It is recommended that you deselect settings and the address once the operation is finished. On the [Scan Settings] screen, press Reset on the Control panel to deselect the settings. You can also deselect the address by pressing [Clear All] on the [SCAN] screen, or by pressing Reset on the Control panel.
