Proof Copying
Overview
This is a function that allows you to check the finish in advance when making multiple copies by printing a single copy or just the 1st page of the scanned original. This function helps you to prevent mistakes when making a large number of copies.
Procedure

Position the original.

Specify copy conditions on the [COPY] screen as necessary.

Enter the number of sets using the Keypad of the Control panel.
Proceed to Step 5 when scanning the original in one go.
Proceed to Step 4 when dividing up the scan of the original into multiple parts.

Specify [Separate Scan] mode, and press Start on the Control panel to scan all originals.

Press Proof Copy on the Control panel.
This scans the original and outputs either a single copy or the 1st page.

Press [MACHINE].
The [Job Ticket Edit] screen is displayed.

Change the copy conditions as necessary.

Press [Close].
This returns you to the [MACHINE] screen.
When the job is not output, press Stop on the Control panel, and then press [Cancel Job] in the dialog box. The image data is erased.

Press Start on the Control panel when you have checked that there are no problems preventing successful output.
This outputs the set number of copies in batches.
