[IPP Settings]
Overview
Configure settings to use IPP (Internet Printing Protocol).
Setting to [ON] allows you to perform IPP printing.
Tips
- IPP printing is a function that makes prints via the network using the IPP protocol. IPP, which is an extension of HTTP, is used to transfer print data, and it can also be printed to a printer in a remote location via the Internet. You can prevent unauthorized use by third parties by performing authentication when printing with IPP. Also, if the communication between this system and the computer is encrypted with SSL, printing can be performed more safely as IPPS.
