[Screen1]

Overview

Select the screen type to be used on [Screen1].

If you return to the [MACHINE] screen after setting, [Gamma Automatic Adj.] is performed. Perform [Highlight Adjustment] when finished.

Tips

Dot screen is a common printing method that changes the density and expresses the gradation by changing the size of the dots arranged in a regular line. The higher the number of dots, the more detailed the expression.

Setting items		[Dot210]	Very small dots are used to reproduce image. Good for reproducing detail because a lot of lines are used. Appropriate for office document and small characters.
		[Dot170]	Very small dots are used to reproduce image. By using similar number of lines as offset color printing, both reproducing detail and stability are achieved. Appropriate for office document.
		[Dot140]	Dots are used to reproduce image. By using more lines than news paper, the resolution is better than news paper. Appropriate for black-and-white printing and photograph.
		-[Dot120]	The number of lines is the default. Good for reproducing gradation and stability of gradation. Appropriate for black-and-white printing and photograph.
		[Dot105]	Larger dots are used to reproduce image. The number of lines is same as news paper, and good for stability of gradation. Appropriate for black-and-white printing or poster.
		[Dot85]	Larger dots are used to reproduce image. The number of lines is fewest in the selectable screens, and stability is best. Appropriate for black-and-white printing or poster.
