[Merge...]
Overview
Merge multiple hold jobs, and save them as a single hold job.
Some jobs can be merged, but some ones do not be done depending on the file type.
It is possible to merge only PS, PDF, PDF (APPE), TIFF, or JPEG print jobs.

Procedure

Select multiple jobs in the [Hold] job list while pressing the Ctrl key.

Click [Merge...] in [Job Management].
The [Job Merging] screen is displayed.

To additionally merge a job, click [Add...].
The [Job Selection] screen is displayed.

Select the target job from the list, and click [Select].
The job is added to the [Job Merging] screen.

Click [Top], [Up], [Down], or [Bottom], and change the merge number.
Jobs are merged in the same order they appear in the job list.
The setting of the job at the top of the job list is applied to the merged job.

Enter the file name of the merged job.
Enter the name using up to 63 single-byte characters.
The available characters are all ones, excluding double quotation marks.

Click [Create].
The created job is added to the hold job list.
Even if the source hold job setting is changed, the changed contents are not applied to the merged hold job.
Tips
Jobs selected from the [Hold] job list can also be merged by the following operation.
- Select [Merge...] from the right-click menu.
