What Is PPD Driver?
PPD Driver is a driver suitable for printing data using the PostScript font.
This driver is available when you create print data with the application that requires PPD.
Also, the Linux printing system, "CUPS", can be operated using the PPD Driver.

Tips
PPD stands for "PostScript Printer Description", which is a printer description file that includes print function information of this system.
