Setting items | [Plain] | Printing paper used in MFP or printer. Select this item for black-and-white printing.
[Fine] | Non-coated paper generally used for offset printing. This paper type has a high degree of whiteness and is used for a range of purposes.
[Book/News] | This paper, which is used for the body of books, is made with high opacity so that there is no strike-through (printing can be seen through the back) or in cream color to make the characters easier to read.
[Plain-rough] | This paper has a rough surface and poor fixability. Among fine paper, cotton paper is included in rough paper.
[Blank Insert] | This is not a classification based on the smoothness of the paper surface, but is set in the tray loaded with paper that is only passed through without being printed on this system. When using the blank cover or blank insertion function, select this option to load paper that is no longer printed on this system because it has already been printed, or to load paper that is used as blank sheets.
[Don't Care] | Does not set a paper type.
