Importance of Daily Maintenance

Why Is Daily Maintenance Important?

It is important to perform periodic maintenance to the system in order to prevent issues from occurring during printing.

As well as replenishing paper and replacing the toner, be sure to also include "cleaning" and "adjustments" as part of the daily maintenance routine.

Performing maintenance can reduce system failures and help prevent drops in quality.

"Cleaning" should be performed to keep the system in a good condition. For details about which specific items to clean, refer to Cleaning.

"Adjustment" is performed to ensure stable printing quality. For details, refer to Adjustment: Image Position and Adjustment: Image quality.
