Holding a Print Job on this Machine or Saving a Print Job to the HDD (PCL Driver)
In the following settings, a print job can be held on this machine or saved on the HDD. If necessary, it can be printed simultaneously.
Select one of the following options from the [Output Method] pull-down menu.
[Save in User Box]
[Save in User Box/Print]
[Save in User Box/Print (Proof)]
[Save in User Box/Print (Proof / 1st Sheet)]
[Save in User Box/Print (Wait)]
[Hold]
[Hold and Print]
[Hold and Print (Proof)]
[Hold and Print (Proof / 1st Sheet)]
[Hold and Print (Wait)]
Click the [Basic] tab.
Select one of the following options from the [Output Method] pull-down menu.
If you save a print job to the HDD of this machine, select the [Save in User Box].
In this case, printing can also be carried out at any time.
When you perform Print, select the [Save in User Box/Print].
When you perform Proof / Proof Print, select the [Save in User Box/Print (Proof)].
When you perform Proof (1st Sheet) / Proof Print (1st Sheet), select the [Save in User Box/Print (Proof / 1st Sheet)].
When you perform Wait / Temporary Stop, select the [Save in User Box/Print (Wait)].
If you hold a print job on this machine, select the [Hold].
In this case, printing can be carried out at any time.
When you perform Print, select the [Hold and Print].
When you perform Proof / Proof Print, select the [Hold and Print (Proof)].
When you perform Proof (1st Sheet) / Proof Print (1st Sheet), select the [Save in User Box/Print (Proof / 1st Sheet)].
When you perform Wait / Temporary Stop, select the [Hold and Print (Wait)].
To save a print job in the HDD, type in [Folder Name] and [Password] you specified on the [RECALL] screen of this machine. To save a print job in the User Box in the folder, specify [Box Name] in [User Setting] - [Save in User Box]. Enter these values on the [User Setting] dialog box.
Selecting the [Display file name entry screen when printing] check box allows you to change the name of the print job to be stored.
If necessary, enter the file name in the [File Name] field of the [Specify File Name] dialog box.
Click [OK] to start printing.
