Overview

Store VDP resource data (variable data) in the SMB shared folder, "pdfvt2", of this system.

Storing Variable Data

This section describes the procedure to create any subfolder, "CompanyA", just under "pdfvt" and store VDP resource data.

Enter the following address in the address field, and press "Enter".

In Windows

\\<IP address of Image Controller>

Example: If the IP address of Image Controller is 192.168.1.20, type as shown below.

\\192.168.1.20\pdfvt\CompanyA

In Macintosh

Click [Go] - [Connect to Server] in the Finder menu.

Enter the server address, and click [Connect].

smb://<IP address of Image Controller>

Example: If the IP address of Image Controller is 192.168.1.20, type as shown below.

smb://192.168.1.20/pdfvt/CompanyA

The variable data is stored in the "CompanyA" folder.
