[AutoMeasure]
Overview
Read the output chart using Intelligent Quality Optimizer IQ-501, and automatically perform Both Sides Adjustment. Up to 20 charts can be automatically read at one time. As the number of charts is greater, the accuracy of the adjustment value becomes higher.
The result is displayed after adjustment so you can immediately grasp the adjustment result.
Tips
- To perform fine-adjustment, make each adjustment in [Adjustment Item] .

| Once locked, you cannot manually change the numeric value of [Back] in [Vertical] and [Horizontal]. The numeric value of the front side cannot be updated by automatic measurement. | |

Procedure (Automatically Performing Both Sides Adjustment)

Press [Print Mode].

Enter the number of chart output sheets, and press Start on the Control panel.
A test chart is output, and each adjustment value is updated.

Output 1 sheet of a chart, and check the result.
Procedure (Manually Fine-adjusting the Magnification)
Manually fine-adjust the vertical or horizontal magnification.
This function is useful when you want to make fine adjustments after performing [AutoMeasure].
When the front side is changed manually, if it is locked, the numeric value is not updated even by the automatic measurement.
To update the manually adjusted numeric value, perform [AutoMeasure].

Press [Vertical] or [Horizontal].

Press [Front] or [Back].

Use the on-screen keypad or the Keypad of the Control panel to enter the numeric value.
Use [+ / -] to select the positive or negative value.
To enlarge the print image, enter a positive value, and to reduce it, enter a negative value.
Adjustment range: [-1.00~+1.00]
Procedure (Manually Fine-adjusting the Vertical Shift or Horizontal Shift)
Manually fine-adjust the vertical shift amount or horizontal shift amount.
This function is useful when you want to make fine adjustments after performing [AutoMeasure].
To update the manually adjusted numeric value, perform [AutoMeasure].

Press [Up/Down Shift] or [Right/Left Shift].

Press [Front] or [Back].

Use [+ / -] to select the positive or negative value.
To shift the print image (image and crop mark) up or to the right, enter a positive value, and to shift it down or to the left, enter a negative value.
