Tips
- There is a possibility that the papers may stick together due to punch holes causing if tab paper with punch holes are used. To prevent multiple sheets being fed at once, flick through the stack by hand before loading the paper. Refer to Managing Paper for more details on how to properly handle the papers.
- Change the tray size settings to the tab paper settings during paper settings if you want to load tab papers into any tray. For details, refer to [Paper Size].
Procedure

Pull out the tray.
Pull out the tray for which tab paper is set.

Open the Feed roller.

Load the tab paper.
NOTICE
- Be careful not to exceed the maximum stack height lines displayed on the tray Side guides when loading the paper.

Place the guide plate against the tab paper.
Load the tab paper so that it is aligned with the Feed roller side of tray.
Press down the Side guide lock release lever and place the front side Side guides against the tab paper. Then, while pressing down Rear edge guide lock release lever, place the Rear guide plate against the paper.
NOTICE
- Make sure that the Side guides and Rear guide plate are placed firmly against the paper. If there is a gap between the guide and the paper, the machine will not be able to properly detect the correct paper size leading to feed device failure.

Firmly push the tray until the end.
