Paper Wrinkles That Appear When Feeding 2-Sided Documents
Overview
Wrinkles may appear in the paper when feeding 2-sided documents during the 2-sided printing process.
Check the following items if wrinkles appear in the paper frequently, and take the appropriate action.
Cause | Solution |

The paper settings and the size of the paper in the feed tray do not match | Check the paper settings, or the size of the paper loaded into the feed tray, and change to the correct paper size. |
The paper is not loaded correctly The paper guide is not installed correctly | Check the feed tray. The method for loading paper into the feed tray may vary depending on the type of the paper to be used. Be sure to refer to the information given below. |
There is a problem with the condition of the paper | Use recently unsealed paper. For details, refer to Using Paper. |
Lower the [Upper Fusing Roller Temperature] | Set the gloss and image density adjustment ranges if any paper wrinkles appear. For details, refer to [Upper Fusing Roller Temperature]. |
Malfunction | If the symptoms do not improve after checking for the above items, it might be a result of a malfunction. Contact your service representative. |
