Advanced settings can be made to suit the loaded paper. For example, if a test 2-sided print produces images on the front and back sides of the paper that are not aligned, adjust the image positions using [Both Sides Adj.].
[Paper Type & Weight]: Select when you want to register a new paper profile. Even if the type or weight of the paper loaded into the Paper tray is unknown, using this option allows you to more easily perform paper settings.
[User Profile]: Select if you have forgotten the name of a registered paper profile. Displays candidate user profiles (paper profiles created by the user) based on the paper measurement results.
[Preset Profile]: Select to quickly set a paper profile. Displays preset candidate profiles (paper profiles registered by default) based on the paper measurement result.
Tips
When There Are No Suitable Paper Profiles in Step 3
For the paper profile storage method, select [New Store]. This registers the appropriate paper profile for the loaded paper. Do not select [Overwrite]. It will overwrite paper profiles.
