This function automatically adjusts the scanning start position of the ADF and the image centering in the crosswise direction.
Scanning accuracy is maintained by making regular adjustments.

Finally, the adjustment is required for all the items.
[Simplex/Duplex] is selected automatically, so do not change this setting.
The selected item is adjusted automatically.
If you selected [Restart Timing(Front)] in step 2, load the test chart, which was used in [FD-Mag. Adjustment] of [ADF Adjustment], with its front side facing upward.
If you selected [Centering(Front)] in step 2, load the test chart, which was used in [Centering Adjustment] of [Printer Adjustment], with its front side facing upward.
If you selected [Restart Timing(Back)] in step 2, load the test chart, which was used in [FD-Mag. Adjustment] of [ADF Adjustment], with its back side facing upward.
If you selected [Centering(Back)] in step 2, load the test chart, which was used in [Centering Adjustment] of [Printer Adjustment], with its back side facing upward.
If adjustment fails, [NG] is displayed in [Adjustment Result]. Make adjustments with [ADF Original Stop Pos. Adj.].
[Skew Level] is displayed only when [Restart Timing(Front)] is selected in step 2.
The numeric value of [Position Adj.(mm)] is reflected on [Current Data].
