Punch
Overview
Punch 2 holes in the left side of the paper. This function is available for document filing and other purposes.
NOTICE
- Do not punch special paper such as labels or tracing paper. Punching special paper may cause an unexpected failure.
Tips
- The available paper size or number of sheets varies depending on the mounted optional devices. For details, refer to Optional Part Names and Specifications for Paper Output.
- The punched sheets are output to the Main tray.
- The Lower tray of PostInserter PI-502 can only be used as the Paper tray. The Upper tray is not available.

Procedure
1
Load paper into the Lower tray of PostInserter PI-502, and align the Side guides with the paper.
Load paper with the front side up.
Punch holes at the rear edge of the loaded paper.

Press the Punch key [1] on the Post inserter control panel to turn on the LED lamp.
Punch holes can be combined with Corner Staple or 2 Position Staple.

Press the Start/Stop key [3] to start processing.
