What Is [Tone Curve]?

Overview

Use [Tone Curve] if you want to adjust the overall brightness or contrast for a job.

What Is [Tone Curve]?

[Tone Curve] is a function used for adjusting brightness, contrast and for reproduction of gradation by operating the input/output density curve. It is particularly useful when you want to change the density, brightness or balance of a photograph according to client expectations or application.

Register a [Tone Curve] which has been adjusted under a variety of conditions to the Image Controller in order to enable the recall and application of the registered [Tone Curve] during printing. The adjustment of [Tone Curve] and the registration to Image Controller can be done in AccurioPro Print Manager. You can also configure the [Tone Curve] using the printer driver.

Perform adjustment at the following timings.
  • When changing the brightness
  • When changing the contrast
