Storing Print Jobs on the Storage Machine
Store print jobs on the storage machine.
Check that the printer driver and LK-114_ManagerPort required to use the universal print function are installed on the machine while LK-114_ManagerPort settings are configured.
Open document data using the application software. From the [File] menu, select [Print].
Select the MFP set as the storage machine in [Printer Name] (or [Select printer]), then click [OK].
Print jobs are sent to the storage machine. When storage processing is completed, the completion window appears.
Click [OK].
Up to 100 documents can be stored as print jobs on one storage machine for each user. In total, the HDD capacity is 5 GB, and up to 10,000 documents can be stored on one storage machine.
When the PCL driver is used, jobs are deleted without being spooled if [1200dpi (Rasterize on PC)] is selected in [Resolution] on the [Quality] tab of the [Printing Preferences] window. To print with 1200 dpi, select [1200dpi (Rasterize on Device)] in [Resolution] on the [Quality] tab of the [Printing Preferences] window, or use the PS driver. If print jobs are sent using the PS driver, you cannot change the print settings when printing on the client machine.
User Box Print and Secure Print are not available on the storage machine.
