Regular adjustment flow: High accuracy
In addition to Regular adjustment flow: Normal, perform this adjustment especially in the following cases:
Just before outputting a job based on the strict density standard
When the density stability is not desirable (you want to increase the accuracy of reproducibility)
When the paper type is different
If you use Package Color Auto Adj., this machine automatically makes the adjustments in step 2 below and after.
To use Package Color Auto Adj., install Intelligent Quality Optimizer IQ-501. For details, refer to Package Color Auto Adj..
With RU optional unit (Relay Unit RU-518) mounted
Color Density Control
Confirm whether the Periodical Adj. Execution of Basic Setting is set to ON.
In Color Density in Paper Setting, check if Default Adj. Data or Registered Adj. Data is selected for the tray.
Applying the registered adjusted color density to the machine
To use general paper, select Default Adj. Data.
To use special paper or increase the accuracy of the automatic adjustment, Each Paper Type Color Adj. is recommended. For details, refer to Color Density Control: Each Paper Type Color Adjustment.
Gamma Automatic Adjustment
This automatically adjusts the density reproducibility of the whole paper to be output.
Max. Density Auto Adj.
Increase the accuracy of reproducibility of density.
