Web Browser Settings

JavaScript

JavaScript must be enabled. Follow the procedure below to check the setting.

  • Internet Explorer: Select [Internet Options] from [Tools], select the [Security] tab, and then click [Custom Level] in order to select the option marked "Enable" for [Active Scripting]. (for Internet Explorer 11)

  • Firefox: JavaScript is enabled by default. For details, refer to the Firefox Help. (for Firefox 44)

Cookie

Cookies must be enabled. Follow the procedure below to check the setting.

  • Internet Explorer: Select [Internet Options] under [Tools], select the [Privacy] tab, and then move the slider to the "High" privacy setting. (for Internet Explorer 11)

  • Firefox: Select [Options] - [Privacy] from Tools, and select [Use custom settings for history] from the [Firefox will] drop-down list. In the options that now become available, check [Save Cookie]. (for Firefox 44)

Cache

Check the following cache setting from the Web browser.

  • Internet Explorer: Select [Internet Options] under Tools, select the [General] tab, and then click [Settings] under [Temporary Internet Files] to specify [Every time I visit the webpage] under [Check for newer versions of stored pages:]. (for Internet Explorer 11)

  • Firefox: Select [Options] from Settings, select [Advanced] - the [Network] tab, and select [Override automatic cache management] under [Cached Web Content] to set the cache capacity to 0 MB. (for Firefox 44)

  • Some Web browser versions may provide different menus and item names. For details, refer to the Help for the Web browser.

  • Check the settings of the cache function. With the cache function enabled, timeout occurs in the administrator mode, and after that, how many time you try to access, just timeout recurs. It results in the Control Panel of this machine being locked, and you cannot handle the control panel. In this case, turn the main power on again.
